About Me
Whether by choice, family decision, or Marine Corps orders, I've traveled across most of the continental US visiting or driving through 37 states and living in 10 of those states. My career as a designer started in Providence RI for the NBC affiliate, WJAR, and this eventually lead me to Virginia to work at Media General’s centralized graphics hub, MGFX.
In the past 13 years in the Broadcast industry, I've risen through the ranks from Graphic Artist to Senior Designer/Art Director leading a team of 8 to 20 designers in all facets of design and day to day operations. During that time, I've won 12 company awards for graphic design and animation; and, Media General’s highest honor, the Circle of Excellence award for outstanding leadership.
I've also served my department as a general IT guy, resolving many of the technical issues that users experience from time to time for both software and hardware issues.
During my time away from work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, watching 3D movies, and building computers.
